ProofBinder does not require a Polenest account to create local records or PDF files.
ProofBinder keeps record packets on your device.
ProofBinder is a local-first mobile app for turning notes, photos, and simple document details into PDF record packets. It does not require an account and does not upload your records to a Polenest server.
Data categories
| Local records | Titles, categories, dates, counterpart names, locations, amounts, summaries, timelines, checklist items, and category-specific fields are stored in the app workspace on your device. |

| Image attachments | Photos you add from the camera, gallery, or another app's share sheet are copied into the local ProofBinder workspace so they can be included with the record. |
| PDF files | When you generate or save a PDF, the file is created on your device. You choose whether to open it, save it, or share it through the operating system. |
| Record packet data | ProofBinder may keep local packet metadata such as file names, timestamps, and SHA-256 hash values so you can later check whether a saved PDF or packet file appears to have changed. |
| Drafts from sharing | If you share an image into ProofBinder from another app, ProofBinder may create a local draft with the image attached so you can review and classify it later. |
| Diagnostics | App store or operating system diagnostics, such as crash logs, app version, OS version, device model, and error details, may be used to fix defects and maintain reliability. |
| Support data | Emails and details you send to [email protected] are used to answer your request and diagnose the issue you report. |
What ProofBinder does not do
No cloud vault
Polenest does not operate a ProofBinder server that stores your notes, photos, PDFs, or packet manifests.
No advertising profile
ProofBinder is not designed to sell personal data, build an advertising profile, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
No legal certificate
ProofBinder creates practical record packets. It is not a legal certificate, tax invoice, notarization service, or legal advice.
Permissions and sharing

| Open, save, or share PDF | Handled through the device's file picker, share sheet, document viewer, or storage provider. The provider you choose controls any upload, sync, or message delivery after that point. |
Your controls
Edit or delete records
Use the document list and detail screens in ProofBinder to review, edit, or delete records where the app provides those controls.
Manage saved files
PDFs and files you save outside the app are managed in the location you selected, such as your device storage, Files app, Drive, iCloud, messenger, or email app.
Remove local app data
Deleting records in the app or uninstalling the app may remove local ProofBinder workspace data from that device. Back up important PDFs before deleting the app.
