Actual flow in the app

  1. Open Calendar and choose the first days of the cycle.
  2. Use the Calendar pattern creation action from the multi-date or more menu flow.
  3. Choose a preset or type your own sequence of labels.
  4. Save the pattern so the calendar can show the labels on future dates.
  5. When one date changes, use the pattern exception flow instead of rebuilding the whole pattern.

Real-life examples

A nurse tracks day, evening, night, off, and rest days without typing each one.

A part-time worker enters a 4-on-3-off cycle and checks the month before accepting extra work.

A family member shares only the selected work dates when planning pickups or appointments.

Quick answers

When should I use a pattern instead of multi-date selection?

Use a pattern when the schedule follows a predictable cycle. Use multi-date selection when the dates are irregular.

Can I change just one day?

Yes. Use a pattern exception for the changed date so the rest of the cycle stays intact.
